HISTORY:.
To put it simply, Sen doesn't remember his past. Everything he was or knew before the age of 14 became nothing more than a blank canvas. Doctors claimed he had mentally blocked his past to protect himself from emotional trauma. Sen claimed he just didn't have a past.
It all began with a forest fire on a hot summer afternoon. The fire had quickly grown, its massive body engulfing and burning down more half of forest. Most claimed it was lucky the fire had been controlled soon enough to keep the fire from reaching any near by towns. It wasn't until late that night that helping hands found Sen's body laying safely at the edge of the forest. Though his body was covered with ash and small licks from the fire, Sen had managed to escape the infernal with nothing more than a bump on the head.
Sen spent a month in the hospital before he was released into an institution for children. He had been assured that it was only temporary. That the police would be working hard to find and return him to his family. But as weeks turned to months and months turned to years Sen's hope of finding his 'family' withered away.
He had spent his years getting treatment for his condition and attending school. He was always one with few friends yet always surrounded by people. The class clown is what most called him. He always had a smile upon his face and some sort of joke or prank to play. But despite his outer appearance his inner self was screaming for freedom. It was at the age of 15 that Sen finally broke down on doctors and claimed angrily that he never had a family, never wanted a family and would never have a family. That claim stuck in his mind for a good year before he finally left the institution to fend for himself.
Town after town, city after city. Sen could never seem to find a place called home. After leaving the institution for children Sen quickly learned that money was an important aspect to life. In the institution everything he needed such as food, water and clothes and had been supplied. It also became very clear as to why his caretakers had claimed school was very important. Sadly this new found knowledge wasn't much help to him. He found himself stealing to make a living which soon landed him in and out of jail frequently.
It was upon one chilly night that Sen found out he was more than just a common thief on the street. The night had been going pretty badly for him. It had started when he had been caught trying to break into a rather large house that was suppose to be empty. It had sounded like a good idea until he found himself face to face with pepper spray. Turned out the people who lived there had hired a house sitter while they were away. The woman had fallen asleep on one of the sofa's and awoke when she heard Sen slip through the living room window.
It hadn't taken long for Sen to stumble his way back out the window and down the street. Unfortunately his eyes were so watery and stingy from the pepper spray that he could hardly open his eyes to see where he was going. The sounds of sirens sounded behind him and he was certain he would be going back to jail. Yet just as he raised his hands to give himself up, the sirens flew past him.
The first thing Sen felt was relief. He thought the police hadn't seen him. It wasn't until he stumbled his way towards the curve of the street that confusion began to sink in. All he could feel was an odd stone wall but he couldn't figure out where a stone wall would have come from. It wasn't until he climbed over the wall and into grass that real panic began to flood over him. The grass was tall. Way taller than grass should ever be. He tried to call out for help but all that came out was little squeaks.
After that, everything went by in a giant blur. He remembered stumbling around for a while. He remembered random flashes of large objects every time he tried to open his eyes. He remembered a voice, a warmth and then nothing.
When Sen awoke again he was in the largest bedroom he head ever seen in his life. It turned out the bed room was actually very small and so was Sen. At the time he wasn't sure how or why, but he had transformed himself into a chipmunk. So where was he? The Town of Rebel's Kiss. The person who had found him brought him there. Sen never did find out who, why or how they knew what Sen was. Seemed whoever it had been wanted to keep themselves secret.
It was in the town that Sen's life once again changed. He found himself surrounded by other people who had incredible powers. He'd been given help finding a job and home. Next thing he knew he was finishing high school and enrolling for college. He quickly learned how to transform himself from human to chipmunk and back but kept that secret to himself. It was fun to pretend that he couldn't control his transformations and had even gone as far to convince people that his emotions caused him to transform at will. As old habits die hard, Sen sometimes used his power for stealing. As for leaving the town? Sen had never tried to leave and was never told he couldn't. Yet something inside him told him he wouldn't be able to even if he wanted. He wasn't sure why and had no proof to back it up.

RP SAMPLE:.
As
the man explained who he was, tree questions instantly popped into Sen’s head. Why in the devils name would anyone care if someone cut down trees? With the amount of resources the humans took from the world already, would it really make that much of a difference? There was no point worrying about an inedible doom. Secondly, why were some humans so set on keeping complete strangers alive while others were capable of killing their own blood? Lastly, why would this man stop people from jumping? If they really wanted to die, why not let them? Human’s truly were confusing little creatures.
“Sounds more like a boring job to me,” Sen replied with a goofy grin filling his face, “But I guess someone has to do it, am I right?” No, no someone did not have to do it. It seemed like a huge waste of time. Though perhaps if this man wasn’t in his way, Sen wouldn’t feel it was as much of a waste of time.
The grin on Sen’s face suddenly vanished as Rainier bluntly asked him what his intentions at the gorge were. That question was answered with nothing but silence for a short while. It was as if Sen’s mind had suddenly stopped working because it had gone completely blank. Luckily for him, his mouth once again saved him and words began to spill past his lips.
“Well you see, I’ve killed a woman.” He blurted out, a hint of sarcasm hanging onto each word, “Was going to dump her body in the river. I don’t seem to be very good at ditching bodies though. Seems I’ve forgotten to bring it with me.” It was, of course, all a lie. He hadn’t killed anyone and he certainly didn’t have a body to ditch. It was such a waste to murder humans. They could be used for so much more.
When Sen finished speaking, the grin once again returned to his face. He was quite pleased with his answer. He found it witty and amusing though it was hard to tell if the older man would enjoy it. Humans were hard to read on those sorts of things.
“Seriously though, I don’t feel the need the share my ‘true intentions’ for coming here. At any rate, they aren't of your concern. After all, sir, I don’t even know your name. My mother always told me I shouldn’t give personal information to strangers.” Sen had no mother. At least none that he ever met or known. But a girl he once met had told him that before. It seemed like a fitting thing to say now. “Why don’t we play a game. For every question you answer of mine, I’ll answer a question of yours. Sound fair? Of course it does. How about we start with your name.” Sen really did love playing games. Especially ones that allowed him to dig into peoples personal lives. Ohhh he truly hoped the man would play along. It had been such a long time since Sen had someone older to play with.
